Shakti/ Shanti  is an RYT-500 hour yoga instructor & owned & operated a yoga studio & accredited Yoga Teacher Training School back in Canada. She has a long history in the health and fitness industry, and as a competitive athlete. She has a passion for holistic wellness, and worked as a Mental Health/ Community Health Nurse for many years.

Shanti loves to move - she loves Yoga, Dance, and the more advanced asana like arm & hand balancing. Using the mind-body connection & mindful methodology of principals & engagement. Shanti was able to take her practice to a whole new level.

Shanti & Shunya are now travelling the world with their two children, sharing the gift of Yoga and movement wherever they go.

Shiva Shunya/ Ero grew up in the mountains of British Columbia, where at an early age he was into fitness, movement, extreme sports, and nature. At 6, he joined Shaolin Kung Fu, where he studied for the next 20 years. After taking his career further returned to BC to attend university, where he studied anatomy and emergency medicine. Shunya spent seven years working as a paramedic; five years on an ambulance and another one year as a full-time firefighter/paramedic.

Shunya was first introduced to yoga in 1998 as a part of his martial arts training, but it wasn't until 2010 when he made the yoga practice a part of his daily life and started to understand the true journey of the yogi.

Since 2010, Shunya has been teaching yoga. Though a lover of movement, handstands, arm balances and Zen mindfulness, his focus is the integration of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence to create a Zen space to deepen inner connection.

In 2021, Shunya gave up his home in BC to travel and teach workshops, teacher trainings, festivals, and retreats. He has taught around the world. He is passionate about spreading his love for yoga and helping others in their journey by sharing his journey.

At Movement Gone Wild, we believe that movement is Life. We encourage you to make movement a part of your daily routine and unleash your potential in all aspects of your life.
